ASHISouth’s Summer Quarterly meeting at North Shelby B. Church

Dear ASHISouth Members and Alabama Home Inspectors,
I hope you can either physically meet OR ZOOM / Meeting this next Saturday / August 28, 2021 :
N. Shelby Baptist Church, Fellowship hall ; 4100 Belcher Dr.; Birmingham, AL 9: 00 a.m. / start time.
1. At 9:00 a.m. (Note : Earlier start time) August 28, 2021, we will hear from Jonathan Handy / Eco Three/ Spray poly foam contractor . We will learn what home inspectors need to look for .
2. About 11:00 a.m.. we will hear (via Zoom) from AHIO/ Alabama Home Inspector Organization / Director: Andrew Griffith and staff. He will also inform you of our “almost WIN” to reduce our 6 years liability down to 2 years and other potential issues which will directly affect Alabama home inspection businesses in the future.

3.. About 11:45 a.m. we will enjoy lunch Thank – you Mike Ray & helpers for always getting us great food. donuts , coffee .
4. IF you are not an ASHISouth member there will be a $40.00 / fee for the food and 5 hours of C.E.
ASHISouth offers “Affiliate memberships” for non- ASHI members.. same price….
BTW: Retired ex ASHISouth guys are FREE …
5. About 12:30 p.m. We will have a Home Inspector’s “Round Table” discussion with several “Wise (?) old guy” home inspectors addressing 2 subjects :
A. ” Changes in the home inspection business… ( we are hearing about, “Verbal home inspections.”. Watch out !!)
AND / or
B. ‘ Tough Lessons’ – I have Learned in the home inspection business.”
** You can ask ANY home inspection related question.** This will also be funny..
AND ( maybe a little embarrassing too)
Learn from our mistakes , about 100 years of home inspector’s experience .
